A Taste of Golden India peels back the veil on one of the oldest cultures in the world, surrendering to the sights smells and scenic beauty of a country made up of 1.3 billion people. Luxe On A Budget Tours welcomes those who are bold and filled with a sense of intrepid wonder and a taste for the unexpected to share this amazing experience.
Day 1 : Dehli
Arrival in Delhi and meet our local Tour Leader at the airport and move to the hotel. In case of arrival before lunch, we will recuperate after the long journey and then head out for an evening sight-seeing tour of Delhi. In case of late arrival, we will spend the evening leisurely overnight in Delhi.
Day 2 : Dehli Sightseeing and drive to Agra
Old Delhi Food and Walk tour: enjoy the bustling streets of Old Delhi famous for its food, textile, spices, electronics and book markets. You name an item and you’ll probably find it here! Pssst, don’t forget to negotiate! Post lunch, we will drive to Agra (journey time ~ 5-6 hours).

Day 3 : Taj Mahal and move to Jaipur
After a scrumptious breakfast, we will take an early morning visit to one of the 7 wonders of the world and the symbol of eternal love - the Taj Mahal. Plenty of free time to take in the impressive architectural feat and pose for timeless pictures in front of the Taj Mahal. Post lunch, we will drive to Jaipur ( journey time~ 5-6 hours). En-route, we will visit Abhaneri famous for the Chand Baori, a 10th-century water tank that's an impressive 6.1m (20 ft) deep. Learn about ancient Indian environmentalism—a "baori" is a unique Indian invention for harvesting rainwater.

Day 4 : Explore Jaipur
Explore the "Pink City," known also as Jaipur, including the Amber Fort, City Palace, and the Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds) o
Enjoy the Hindu and Muslim architecture of the beautiful Amber Fort. We will then explore the courtyards, gardens, and buildings that make up the City Palace. Located in the heart of the Old City, it is a striking blend of Mughal and Rajasthani architecture. In the warm bustling evening, we will explore the vibrant textile market of Jaipur

Day 5 : Knots of Compassion
Today we will visit the art village of Aaspura to meet the hardworking and creative women community. Aaspura is one such village in India where over the 2500-year-old art of hand-weaving has been kept alive by the weavers and the amazing initiatives of Jaipur Rugs. Spend a couple of hours conversing to the women, perhaps even trying your hands on weaving and looking at the women weaving magic with their hands. We will have a traditional lunch in the village. There is an optional offer to visit the office of Jaipur Rugs to see how the final product looks like and to perhaps understand the intricacies of rug making

Day 6 : Train journey to Udaipur
Today we will board an early morning train from Jaipur to Udaipur and enjoy the scenic countryside AC train journey.
After settling in our hotels and well-deserved rest, we shall head out for an evening walk tour of Old Udaipur City. Explore the vibrant lakes, alleys and street markets of the city full of pottery, artisans, jewellery, textiles and many other handicrafts. •

Day 7 : Explore Udaipur
Our first tour of the day involves a Cycling Tour of Udaipur countryside post breakfast.

Explore the scenic and serene countryside. On the halfway point we will stop at “Tiger Lake” for tea, coffee and refreshment, Later in the day we will continue our ride through scenic locations, farmlands, villages and reach our finishing point in a village where we first give a visit to the local chief family. We will share a lovely afternoon visit to their house and learn some authentic Rajasthani cooking. Hopefully, our fruitful cooking lessons will be followed by a homemade lunch and thereafter we will drive back to the hotel.
After embracing some free time / restful time, we will begin an Evening Heritage Walk Tour of Udaipur City.

Visit the Clock Tower located in the heart of the city o Walk on the Ghats of Udaipur on Lake Pichola and mesmerizing with their peace, beauty and view ultimate sunset in the evening walk.

Pass through the various temples, century-old buildings, historical gates, markets and hidden lanes o The City Palace Udaipur, located on the bank of Lake Pichola and built over a period of nearly 400 years

Day 8 : Experience the royal Haveli (Mansion) stay
Post early breakfast, we shall drive to witness two amazing marvels made by the human hands (journey time ~ 3hours)
We will have the chance to explore both Ranakpur Jain Temple and Kumbhalgarh fort before stopping for a sumptuous lunch in Kumbhalgarh • After lunch, we shall embark on one the most unique experiences of the tour - a meeting with the royal family of Kotri village and experience a day of their warm hospitality. Enjoy shared conversations with our hosts family and savour the mouth-watering organic Rajasthani dinner

Day 9 : Fly back to Dehli
Post breakfast, we shall drive to Udaipur airport and fly back to Delhi where you will have free time to pick up any last minute purchases.

Day 10 : Airport return
All good things must come to an end and such, our time in India is over! Check out at the specified time and we will depart for the airport unless alternative plans have been arranged.
